Land Rover enthusiasts tend to be a passionate group of people whose love of these vehicles can often be next-level, especially when owning one often requires some added expense and occasional headache. For those who love Land Rovers, we’ve put together a gift guide of some of the many great gifts a Land Rover fan might enjoy.

Land Rover LEGOs
LEGO currently makes two different Land Rover LEGO sets. One is a Classic Defender 90, and the other is a new Defender 90 that falls into the Technic category of products that have more moving parts and function. Both of these are great. Note: The Classic looks beautifully rigged for overlanding, but note that it should be treated as more as a model than a toy, as parts can easily fall off (then reapplied). This one is great for the office. The new Defender 90 can handle more play with the youngsters.

Land Rover Hoody

Red Canoe makes a very attractive collection of Land Rover soft goods (see here). Items include everything from t-shirts to duffel bags, and all of the items are very well made, from the materials to the patches to the embroidery. One standout item is this great looking hoody.

Overland Journal Magazine

Some magazines are so good that each issue is worth keeping on the bookshelf. The Overland Journal is such a magazine. They’ve historically offered a lot of great Land Rover content, and the new ownership group says LR enthusiasts can expect that to continue.

Icon Book

The Icon book is a special hardcover book that Land Rover put together. As they put it, “Icon is the definitive official Land Rover book celebrating the life of Series and Defender models. Icon stretches over 10 chapters and more than 200 pages and captures the essence of the Series and Defender models through the vehicles themselves and the people who have loved, driven and relied upon them over the last 70 years.”

For overlanding and off-road enthusiasts, there’s nothing like the Camel Trophy events that took place between 1980 and 2000. These were true Land Rover adventures, and the photos and footage remain iconic. Nick Dimbleby is one of the most important photographers of Rovers, and his book, Camel Trophy — The Definitive History, is an impressive contribution that documents this event.
