Film: Rebuilding Defenders in “Restored”

For many Land Rover enthusiasts, the restoration work coming out of Brooklyn Coachworks has been turning heads for some time. Their work is now the focus of a new film.

From the filmmakers:

“RESTORED is a short automotive documentary following Brooklyn Coachworks founder Daniel Marcello, one of America’s most sought-after Land Rover Defender restoration builders. For nearly two decades, Daniel has devoted himself to restoring and purpose-building classic Solihull-era Defenders for real-world off-road use.

But while traveling through Italy, Daniel survived a devastating accident that left him temporarily paralyzed. After months of recovery and relearning how to walk, he returned home with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper bond with his machines and himself.

RESTORED is a film for automotive enthusiasts interested in vehicle restoration, classic cars, off-road builds, and hands-on mechanical work. This is a story about craftsmanship, resilience and the pursuit of freedom.”
