An unreal new speed record for the Defender OCTA.
From Defender:
“Two British engineering icons. 406.320 mph. A record-breaking achievement.
At Bonneville Salt Flats, JCB Hydromax set a new land speed record for a hydrogen combustion vehicle, reaching 406.320 mph (653.6 km/h).
Defender OCTA put its power and capability to the test, pushing the 2.5-tonne JCB Hydromax to 55mph so it could engage first gear and accelerate towards the record.
With its 635PS twin-turbocharged V8 engine and advanced 6D Dynamics suspension, Defender OCTA brought performance and precision to this extraordinary challenge.”
